Halloween with our two little pumpkins

Halloween is the best. Seriously. I am not into all the crazy, scary, haunted stuff at.all. BUT I am all about any reason to wear fun costumes, wear tons of orange, and eat candy. And with kids it is truly so much fun. Caroline decided at the beginning of October she was going to be a bumblebee. Not exactly sure where she came up with the idea, but she was set on it, and thanks to Amazon Prime i found a cute, comfortable costume. She LOVED it.

And Mr. James wore the hand-me-down {ADORABLE} cow costume Caroline wore for her first halloween. It was easy and fun. Here are a few pictures from our very full Halloween week. It was complete with Pumpkin Painting at Chick-fil-A, Trunk-or-Treating at Caroline's pre-school, Parade at Pre-School, and actual Trick-or-Treating in our neighborhood... and giving out candy on our front porch, which turned out to be Caroline's favorite of all activities!

Love Bug Party: Caroline Edition!

 Girlfriend was so sweet opening her gifts. She stood for several minutes just taking everything in, and then spent time looking at each one after we opened. It was precious. 

A little smash cake with lady-bug strawberries... hoping to entice Caroline with the berries {she LOVES strawberries!} to dig right in. It worked, but she definitely took her time figuring it all out!

And then there was no turning back! Lots of surgery goodness, and no mommy attempting to wipe her mouth or wipe up crumbs.

Caroline - We had an absolute blast celebrating you and your first year! We love you little lady!

Caroline's 1st Easter

Last year I went into labor on Easter, and Caroline just missed it by one day... but this year she was pure joy... and this year I am about a week behind in posting these pictures, but our little bunny was too adorable not to share :)

I took full advantage of Caroline not seeming to mind the bunny ears this year!

 We had lots of fun spending the day with cousin Gavin!
