Our Shop - A Delightful Design

I finally made the jump and opened an Etsy shop. My sweet husband had been telling me forever that I needed to actually sell the things that I designed for our home or friends.... So I opened an Etsy shop at the beginning of 2014, and it has been so much fun! 

I have found that being a stay at home mama to two littles leaves me REALLY craving some place to be creative, and this this tiny little shop has given me a great reason to be intentional about a creative outlet. I haven't really advertised this new venture... at all, and it has still been fun to still get a couple orders a month for invitations or wall art prints. 

I love any excuse to come up with a custom design, so if you have any need for a fun birthday invitation for your little one, or are planning a baby shower, or are looking for fun new art for a nursery or play room don't hesitate to ask me! 

Oh... and the name... A Delightful Design

Jay and I chose the verse Zeph. 3:17 for our daughter Caroline before she was born

"The Lord your God is with you,

He is mighty to save, 

and He will take great delight in you.." 

I truly believe and want to model for my daughter that God gives gifts to His children such as creativity {among tons of other things} and that He delights in us when we use those gifts. Also, who doesn't love to receive a beautiful or fun invitation or notecard in the mail, or to give a fun wall print as a gift. It is a delight to give and receive pretty, fun things. That is my goal through my itsy bitsy little design corner.
